We enjoyed a day trip to Brasstown Bald. Highest elevation point in Georgia. From this location you can see Tennessee and North Carolina. The visibility was clear and the cloud cover was in our favor. The riding itself through north Georgia is mostly flat roads until you start getting into the mountains. There are scenic highways and lots areas where you can pull over and view ravines, valleys and mountain ridges. The road from the highway to the Brass Town bald area is a steep elevation climb with lots of turns and a narrow roadway. This is a great family day trip and if you have an opportunity to make the trip in a performance vehicle you will not be disappointed.
